Music and Tech Mission: Music Frontiers
Location: Berlin, Germany
The final stage of the TechTrack programme will bring Estonia’s winning music technology teams to the international stage: on 4–5 September 2025 they will present at the Music Frontiers Conference in Berlin, at the AQUA-Höfe / Ritter Butzke venue. The focus of the Music Frontiers Conference is on innovation and technology, offering two days of discussions, showcases, and meetings that help shape the future of the music industry while connecting the creative and technology sectors.
Three TechTrack winning teams will represent Estonia:
- BitLab – a modular software platform for audio, video, and lighting professionals that enables real-time control, monitoring, and diagnostics of live event technical systems through a unified platform. BitLab is built by technicians for technicians and is compatible with industry standards such as OSC, MIDI, and Telnet.
- Earlick – the world’s first AI-based solution that clones the guitar parts of any song and transforms them into a real-time playable format.
- Synchub – a music licensing platform that simplifies the entire licensing process from start to finish. Synchub connects music providers (labels, publishers, artists) with music users (advertising agencies, game developers, filmmakers, content creators), offering an efficient environment for managing licenses.
Music Estonia will be represented by project manager Marili Randla.
Participation in Music Frontiers also marks the culmination of the TechTrack programme and captures its main goal – “From idea to prototype.” The programme has focused on supporting early-stage ideas in the field of music technology and developing them into working solutions. TechTrack is a Music Estonia pilot initiative and part of the MI-RAP (Music Industry Resilience Acceleration Programme). The programme is co-funded by the European Union and supported by UNESCO City of Music Tallinn.
